Fix Golf Slice

Fix Golf Slice

There I was, standing on the tee on hole 7. “Whoosh…….ping” there goes my drive sailing away further……further……further……to the right….I hear the familiar sound of a golf ball impacting into a tree. Right!…..”Whoosh” again, but this time it’s my driver which I have just attempted to throw down the fairway. Unfortunately, I can’t even throw that straight; it hits a tree, SNAP! goes the shaft….yet again that damn slice has got the better of me and now my driver has paid the ultimate price…damn slicing a golf ball! Mental note to myself ” Fix Golf Slice !”

Well that was a few weeks ago but that really was the draw that broke the camel’s back, I was becoming so frustrated just because I couldn’t use my driver like it was made to be used. Slice after slice after slice and it finally got the better of me but luckily I fought back!

Even though I had spent countless hours online searching for the solution to fix my slice, nothing seemed to work for me. The 40 or so videos I watched on youtube did nothing for my slice; in fact it probably made it worse. I was getting more and more frustrated.

Luckily I came across one website and to be honest it was just a plain looking website, no flashy graphics or big name PGA players on it but it claimed to have a simple golf swing that anyone could use and it would help drastically and quickly reduce my handicap.

After humming and haaing I thought tom myself that I’ve already spent hour upon hour searching for the solution online with no avail and this frustration had already cost me a golf driver.

I bit the bullet and purchased this ebook hoping like hell it would help fix my slice.

That turned out to be THE best golfing decision that I have ever made. The ebook was like the golf swing, “SIMPLE”. No fluff, no hype. The ebook told you step by step how you could replicate a simple golf swing which was simple to follow, time and time again. It wasn’t hard to understand or hard to follow, I was quite amazed how easy it was to follow the steps in the ebook (there are pictures as well so you know what to do). It only took me 30 minutes (including me jumping up and grabbing my golf club every minute or two trying to copy what the ebook told me to) to read the whole ebook.

2 hours after reading the book I was out on the golf course giving this new swing a go. AMAZING is all I can say. My slice was gone for the majority of the round, but when I did slice I knew why I did it and how to go back to the simple golf swing to fix it. I was far more accurate than I had ever been and my driver was going straight!

The next round of golf I had, I parred or bettered (yes I even had a couple of birdies) over half the holes (I won’t mention the 3 and 4 putt I had!). Two rounds later I had my lowest round ever!

Bottom line is this simple golf swing works and if it can fix my slice I guarantee that it can fix yours too!

Enough, of me talking about it. If you would like to see the ebook that changed my golf game completely then you can click here or simply click on the ebook cover above.

How To Cure A Golf SliceIf you’re wondering about how to cure a golf slice then hopefully this site will help you out. I have been slicing the ball with a monotonous regularity no matter what I try, actually I used to but luckily I found a cure to my golf slice. After watching dozens of online golf instruction videos and changing my golf grip and golf slice with no noticeable it came down to the little things (as things often do) that helped me correct my golf slice.

Golf swing mechanics are a fickle thing by nature. Even in the pro’s you would be hard pressed to find to swings that are the same. You can go from the unconventional but totally deadly swing of Jim Furyk to the picture perfect swing of Tiger Woods, each swing different and yet the result almost the same. N matter what the swing be it Jim or Tiger’s, the club was square at contact (unless they were purposely playing a draw or fade). Having said that even the pros are prone to having the occasional slice appear in their game.

Pro’s constantly battle the hook and draw, in fact you may even notice now that some of the pro’s are cutting back on their back swing even more so that can gain control, take a look at Camilo Villegas (nicknamed the Spiderman) he barely goes pass parallel on the backswing but gains his power from his powerful downswing. Ernie Els is now starting to adopt the same backswing, again just so he can gain more control and accuracy (mind you it helps when you can drive the ball 300 yards!).In doing this they greatly reduce any chance of slicing the ball, something we could all do with.

Whatever you do, don’t become disappointed and frustrated with your golf game just because you are going through a rough period and are slicing the ball. If you have to, jump online and look at some golf swing videos or even just adjust the tempo of your golf swing to see if that will help. There are plenty of golf swings tips online that you can use and if you get really desperate there are golf training aids readily available that you can purchase offline.

There are of course golf pros who are only too willing to show you how to get rid of your slice, at a cost of course but if you are that frustrated then it can be money well spent even if it’s only to relieve you mentally so you can start to enjoy hitting the golf ball around the course again.

Putt For Dough!Like me, you’re probably wondering how to cure a golf slice. In fact I spent countless hours online surfing the internet trying to find the answer to this question. If you are reading this then more than likely you are a slicer of the golf ball and I know that there is nothing more frustrating that trying to hit the ball straight down the middle of the fairway only to have it shoot off to the right into the rough or worse, out of bounds.

While it’s easy to explain what is happening it’s not so easy to remedy the situation. After all slicing the ball means that you are putting sideways spin on the ball either through not having the golf club square at impact or having your club square but having the incorrect swing path which again puts sideways spin on the club when contact has been made.

So to cure a golf slice you will need to either make sure that your club is square at impact which usually involves correcting your grip on the club. If your swing is correct then the only other reason is your grip. Your right hand may too weak or over address at set up which means that your club face is going to be open on contact giving you that sideways spin.

If however your club is square at contact then it’s more likely than not that you’re swinging your club from out to in. This can be corrected by trying to swing “out” or simply by being aware that your divot when using your irons should be pointed towards the flag and not to the left of it. If your divots pointing well left then you most certainly are following the wrong swing path. This is how to cure a golf slice, simply keep the swing path straight and keep your club square at contact.

Now of course there are golf aids such as offset clubs which are angled inwards , these are usually drivers. By turning the head of the club slightly in this tends to make the club square at impact but only if you habitually have a weak right wrist which with a normal club would cause a slice.  However this does not address the problem, it’s only compensates for your bad swing.
I will be providing more on how to cure a golf slice shortly or more importantly how I managed to cure my golf slice, that’s what’s most important ;-)
